Prof. András Lánczi habilitated in 2002 and became head of the Department of Political Science at Corvinus University of Budapest, and after its reorganisation into an institute, its director. From 2016 to 2021 he was Rector of Corvinus University. His research interests include political philosophy, epistemology of political knowledge, theories of democracy, and the Hungarian political science tradition of the 20th century, especially between the two world wars. He was awarded the István Bibó Prize by the Hungarian Political Science Association in 2003 and the Gold Medal of the Corvinus University of Budapest in 2009. Since 2018 he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Research in Central and Eastern European History and Society. He is the author of numerous books and translations.

Dr. William Wood is a postdoctoral researcher at Charles University in Prague and a founding member of the European Center of Political Philosophy at Mathias Corvinus Collegium in Budapest. He has a B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford (2004), a M.A. in Philosophy from Leiden University (2005) and a Ph.D. from the Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago (2021). He is the author of over twenty articles on many figures in the history of European philosophy, including Epicurus, Machiavelli, Nietzsche, Heidegger and Leo Strauss.
Titus Techera is a Visiting Fellow at Mathias Corvinus Collegium working on projects on Machiavelli, on whom he has offered courses and lectures, and Xenophon. He is a political scientist, having studied at the University of Bucharest, Bard College Berlin and the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He is also the Distinguished Fellow in American Culture at Hillsdale College, Michigan and International Program Coordinator for the Edmund Burke Foundation.
